We started VIDAS because we've both lost stories we wish we could get back.

Not long ago, I (Joe) had a son. One day it hit me: he'll never get to hear from my grandparents. He'll never hear their voices, or what they went through so that we could be here now. And that made me really sad.

I wasn't about to let that happen with my parents.

My co-founder and I realized we weren't alone. So many families carry this quiet heartbreak: that the stories that shaped us might fade before we ever hear them.

VIDAS is our way of doing something about that.

We've built a new kind of tool—one that helps your loved ones share their memories in their own words, in their own voice. It guides them through a natural conversation and turns that into a beautiful keepsake: a written biography, an audio archive, and a life summary.

And something amazing happens in the process:
The person sharing their memories loves doing it.
